French Rolled Cheese Omelet
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients
3 Eggs
Salt and pepper, to taste
¼ Cup Shredded cheese
1 Tablespoon of butter, divided
Preparation
Step One
In a small bowl beat the eggs, and season with salt and pepper
Step Two
Heat ½ the butter in an omelet pan until melted. Swirl the pan as needed to coat the pan evenly
Step Three
Pour the egg mixture into the pan and scramble with a fork or a rubber spatula until the mixture begins to thicken. Add the cheese
Step Four
Turn the heat to low and cook until the mixture is set
Step Five
Slide the omelet toward the front of the pan and fold it toward the center.
Step Six
While holding the pan on an angel roll the omelet onto a plate. Shape it into an oval and rub with the remaining butter.
